What is Vibrational Sound Therapy?
Vibrational Sound Therapy, or VST, combines powerful vibration, tones, and rhythm to induce an immediate relaxed state. Rhythm is all around you and in you. Vibration and sound are ever-present in our lives and the universe. While you usually aren't conscious of it, sound is affecting you all the time. When the mind is acutely tuned to tones, or combinations of tones, your conscious brain state can be calmed more quickly and efficiently than with meditation alone. The induction of sound waves directly into your body, along with soothing ambient tones, is such a strong treatment that you may experience effects ranging from a meditative, deeply relaxed state to a noticeable lessening of chronic pain . By placing the therapeutic singing bowls directly on your body, Taylor is able to connect with you aurally and energetically.
During a VST session, you will be lying comfortably on a massage table, fully clothed. Up to three therapeutic singing bowls will be placed on your body. Other healing sound instruments such as crystal singing bowls, chimes, flute, feathers, gong, shruti box, drum and voice are used throughout the session. Each session is intuitively orchestrated to fit your physical, emotional, and energetic needs.
These sound therapy sessions create a space for you to begin your healing journey and provide many benefits.

The techniques associated with VST have many advantages over traditional massage. One major comfort barrier that prevents many people from receiving a traditional massage is fear of being touched by a stranger. In the VST method, the client remains fully clothed and is never touched directly by the practitioner. In fact, because the singing bowl is doing most of the physical work, contact is kept to minimum. This does not diminish the connection between client and practitioner because spiritual intimacy is maintained through the sound and the vibration transmitted through the bowl. Vibrational Sound Therapy is also much less physically intrusive than traditional hands-on massage, and won’t leave the client feeling sore.
